a new year
As many of you know, I live and serve in France, and I’m currently in the process of transitioning to a new platform for sharing my ministry updates. If you would like to stay connected, I’d love for you to sign up to receive my updates on the new platform. I will continue using Mailchimp until the end of this term (September), but after that I’ll be fully transitioning to Epistle. This change will make things much simpler and smoother for me, and safer and more secure for you.
Until September, you’ll still receive updates through Mailchimp as usual. Once September arrives, I’ll be closing this account, so please be sure to sign up on the new platform if you’d like to continue receiving updates.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask! I won’t be able to personally add email addresses so signing up is something you’ll need to do yourself. So please make sure to register if you’d like to stay in the loop.

I first want to pause and say thank you to everyone who has supported me this year both financially and through prayer. It is truly an honor to serve Jesus in France, and I would not be able to do this without you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
As I prayed my way into the new year, I found myself in the city where it all began: Marseille. This is the place where my heart first broke for the lost in Europe, and where God began planting seeds in me, not only for this city, but for this entire country. I moved to Marseille in 2016, and ten years later, it felt only right to welcome 2026 there, rooted in prayer.
It has been ten years of loving France, following Jesus in my call to missions, and being surrounded by family and friends who share the same heart, to see Jesus made known here. Some of you have been reading my newsletters for ten years, praying for me for ten years, and believing in the work God is doing in France for ten years. So truly… THANK YOU. Thank you for a decade of love, support, and faith in the vision God placed in my heart for the people of France to return to Jesus.
God’s love for you is everlasting and unending. My prayer is that 2026 would be a year where you experience His presence like never before. That you hear His voice, feel His nearness and compassion, and discover the hope you’ve been searching for and the peace that only Jesus can give. He truly makes ALL THINGS new.
I am believing for BEAUTY in 2026 and I am praying that over you as well.
the national church
When I returned to France after the summer, I felt the Lord inviting me to step into serving the national church in a more full-time capacity. So when the opportunity opened to serve in La Tour-du-Pin and assist with the church plant there, it felt like an obvious yes.
I still attend our international church in Grenoble, Refuge, about once a month. Refuge has grown so much that the pastors I serve alongside are currently searching for a new building (please pray for Refuge and its leadership). Many of my close friends still attend Refuge, and I remain deeply connected to that community. At the same time, I sensed that I needed to grow by being in a more immersive French context and more fully surrounded by the language.
This season has been stretching, but I am incredibly grateful. The people in La Tour-du-Pin have welcomed me with open arms. Everyone knows my name and cares for me so genuinely. Being fully immersed in the language has been challenging, but I have learned and grown so much through serving alongside the pastors there. Their hearts for their country and their people is so deep and so beautiful, and I have learned so much from them.
I love attending the different church events, serving with the children, and participating in the women’s meals. The church in La Tour-du-Pin is also growing, and it is truly a beautiful thing to witness. People are curious about Jesus and eager to learn more, and it is incredibly special to watch them grow in their faith and learn to trust their Creator.
The church in La Tour-du-Pin is also seeking a new building, so please pray for that as well. Finding a building for a church in France is very difficult, but nothing is impossible for Jesus.
the community center
This year, I have been deeply rooted in both the community center and the national church. Each of these places is incredibly special to me, truly beautiful spaces where I’ve been able to lead, grow in my French, and give everything I have to offer.
I’ve spoken often about the community center because it holds such a special place in my heart, as do the people there. It is a space governed by laïcité, yet one where I am still able to bring the presence of God by showing deep kindness to those in need while serving in a completely secular environment. What began as a once-a-week English class quickly grew into four times a week, along with monthly meals, community events, and deep, meaningful relationships. This space has truly been a gift from Jesus, a place where I’ve been able to lead with confidence, trusting that I can do all things through the strength God gives me.
Although this experience is far outside my comfort zone, I haven’t once felt afraid or insecure. Instead, it has been a space where I’ve felt confident for the first time in what God has called me to do and who He has created me to be. I’m smiling as I write this because the confidence God gives us when He leads us is so real, and here I’ve truly experienced the hope-filled belief of “I can do this.”
I love the community centers in Grenoble, and I will always treasure this space. THANK YOU for sowing seeds of God’s presence here. Many of the people involved have little to no context for who Jesus is or how deeply He loves and cares for them and now, as doors continue to open, they are beginning to experience that love as more believers are welcomed into these spaces.
24-7 prayer
I have truly loved my time serving with 24/7 Prayer this year. For those who may not know, 24/7 Prayer is an international, interdenominational Christian movement centered on continuous prayer, mission, and justice. It began in 1999 in England when a small group of people committed to pray nonstop for one month. Since then, it has spread to hundreds of cities and nations, with churches and ministries hosting prayer spaces where people sign up to pray day and night, sometimes for a week, a month, or even for years.
Here in Grenoble, this looks like monthly 24-hour prayer events as well as a weekly prayer gathering. What started at Pilgrim Café has now grown and moved into the space next door. Our heart is to create places where prayer never stops, spaces that help people encounter God in accessible and creative ways through art, Scripture, music, and silence. We believe in prayer that overflows into loving action: caring for the poor, welcoming the lost, and sharing the Gospel.
Prayer is truly the foundation of what we do here in Grenoble, and it must remain foundational in the ministries we are building across France. I’m looking forward to becoming more involved with 24/7 Prayer and will share more about that later this year. For now, I am simply grateful and excited to continue creating spaces where people can meet Jesus.

Visa update:
My visa has been approved and is ready to be picked up at the prefecture! After waiting nearly seven months for this news, I’m so grateful and relieved to finally have my physical card in hand. I will need to reapply in June, so I would really appreciate your prayers for that process ahead.
Language learning:
Please pray for my French! That I would stay encouraged, patient, and confident as I continue growing in the language.
Relationships:
Please also pray for my relationships at the community center, that they would continue to deepen and that God would use these connections to build trust, openness, and meaningful conversations.
