Global Internship Marseille, FRANCE

“not wanting anyone to perish”

2 Peter 3:9

A collection of updates and stories from my time serving the Lord in Marseille, France, during my junior and senior years of university.

Dive into my newsletter archive below to see what God did during this unforgettable season!

September 2016

My first month of internship has come and gone. This is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever been to and I’ve encountered the Lord in many indescribable ways. Although Marseille is one of the most oppressive and spiritually dark cities I’ve ever seen, God’s presence is everywhere.

While this month has been amazing, there have been many challenges. I’m slightly overwhelmed by the context in which I’ve been placed. The little things that are so familiar back home are stripped away when you live in another country. You begin to feel like a child. It’s easy to get discouraged, but I hold tightly to the Lord and constantly remind myself of the unending love He has for me. Although at times I may fail, I continue to discover more about myself and my faith in Christ.

This season God has taught me a lot about His creativity and thankfulness. I’m thankful for friends, family, and a church I miss. Although living in another country and learning French is challenging, I’m reminded God  created the French language and how cool is it that we not only belong God who created the mountains and oceans, but also the very words we speak all around the world!  I am overwhelmed by His creativity and His beauty. It surpasses the galaxies and goes beyond what our mind can ever comprehend.

I’m excited for what lies ahead and what God is planning for me in France.  Surrendering one’s life to Christ is both challenging and beautiful at the same time. Please keep me in your prayers because I can't do this without prayer. Please know that I will be praying for all of you back home.

October 2016

October has ended and what a beautiful season it has been. I am thankful for every day and every challenge it has brought. This month has taught me that with every challenge comes a change in me. Typically when challenges come, I tend to hide from them. I love being challenged but I prefer being challenged in private. When you live in a foreign country with five people, your life and the challenges you face become public.  When you fail, you are corrected, humbled, and reminded of your imperfection publicly. Although my insecurity is heightened, I am so thankful for the open book my life has become. Accountability is challenging but also beautiful. I love my team and who God created them to be individually. I am thankful God placed them in my life for this season. I wouldn’t want it any other way.

We’ve been taking an online course covering the Book of Philippians which highlights so many essentials of what it means to be an effective team. Several of those qualities include unity, accountability, vulnerability, encouragement, and communication. We’re running this race together to share the knowledge of Christ and glorify Him in all we do. I may be biased but I believe we have the best team. We support each other when feeling discouraged. We build each other up and although we have our moments, we truly and deeply love one another. I’m so thankful for my team and excited to grow and serve Jesus with them.

France is so spiritually dark and heavy. It’s nothing like I’ve ever experienced before in my life. There is a weight of the Gospel not only unknown, but very unwelcomed. The sadness and loneliness in the eyes of those I pass by is heart wrenching.  However dark it may be, I’m reminded that Christ still reigns. We had a prayer meeting at the church we’re serving, and while praying for Marseille,  I’m reminded God is not only a good father, friend, mentor, teacher, He is also Lord and King.  He loves his people and fights on our behalf. He never abandons us and doesn’t ignore the needs and the cries of His people. God isn’t a King who hides in a castle, but instead He walks along the streets. He is King over Marseille and He will never abandon his kingdom.

Thank you for your prayers and know I am praying for everyone back home. I ask that you would pray especially for strength throughout the day and help from our Lord to learn the language. I miss all of you and think of you daily. If you have any personal questions about my time here so far please feel free to email me.

November 2016

Jesus is making a way! November has been another amazing month with constant reminders to trust in Jesus and the promise of His word. He is and will always be everything. He is a good father who never leaves us, neglects us, ignores us, or abandons his children. At times his voice may be hard to hear and we may feel far from him, but Jesus is and will always be with us.

Of all places, being a missionary in France may seem like a dream come true. You get to live in a beautiful city, eat good food, and do God’s work with people you love. What else could you ask for? Although those things are true, they only scratch the surface of what life is truly like as a missionary. When my school introduced the locations we could choose from for our Global Internship, France seemed like a missionary vacation spot. Instead, I wanted God to send me to one of the hardest and darkest of places!

Ironically, in the few months I’ve been here, I’ve discovered France is just that, dark and lost. When it comes to hearing about the Gospel, many people in France have been “reached” but I’ve learned they choose to reject the Gospel. The light of Christ is here, but its presence is dim. However, Jesus is making His way through the city of Marseille and we have the opportunity to be part of something absolutely wonderful. A radical shift is taking place and barriers are being broken down with every step we take.

I don't know if time is going by slowly or if it's going by fast. All I know is I'm taking in every moment God has for me…and hoping to be an example of what it means to follow Jesus wholeheartedly and surrender to His will. I am where He wants me to be and watching the Gospel advance here in France is a lifetime experience I will treasure forever.

This Thanksgiving season, I give thanks to you because you made it possible for all of this to happen!  I am deeply grateful for both the financial partnerships and endless prayers from everyone back home. Lives are being changed and God will be made known!

As my time in France continues, I’ve been getting more involved in local youth ministries here.  I’m also learning the language, building relationships, familiarizing myself with the city, and learning how to grow spiritually in my walk with the Lord. It truly has been a blessing!

I am thankful for everyday and the growth that’s taking place in me. Please pray I continue to learn the language and grow deeper in my understanding of God’s word. I love all of you very much! Thank you again and if you want to hear more, please feel free to email me!

December 2016

It’s crazy to believe this time next year I’ll be sitting in my home in Texas. I guess you could say time has flown by, but at the same time I feel each moment has happened one day at a time. Thankfully I’m not very homesick. I’m actually very content and that’s strange to me.  I’m not saying I don't wish I was home with my family, and I honestly didn’t realize how much I would  miss my family and our Christmas traditions until now. However, I had a wonderful Christmas with my team. We pulled all of our family traditions together, ate a ton of food, watched a bunch of movies, open presents, worshiped, sat by the fire, and celebrated the life of our wonderful Savior Jesus.

Recently, all I want to do is simply adore Jesus. I’m so overwhelmed by Him and the grace and love that’s been poured out on my life in France. I do have challenging moments, but I truly love it here. I love France and I love serving God. This opportunity is absolutely life changing. God gets all the glory for everything I accomplish.  I owe it to Him for saving me and bringing me to a place where I can be an example of someone who is in need of a Savior. It’s such a beautiful thing to fully surrender all that I have to Him. Some days I feel I have no talents to offer to Jesus, but I love that I can simply offer “Mandy” and that’s enough.

Now that December has ended, language school has also come to an end. We’re now looking for language partners. Please continue to pray that I grasp French and that the language would come naturally. I would also love for God to develop new friendships in my life while living in Marseille. Beginning January, we start our official ministries. These last months have been focused on learning the language and culture in France. I’m prayfully considering each new ministry and asking God to lead me in His wisdom during this process.

Thank you so much for the constant support and prayers. Please know I continue to pray for all of you and truly appreciate having you alongside as we fulfill God’s mission together in France. As always I’m excited for what God has in store. Thank you for all that y'all do for me! (That’s my Texas roots coming out!)

January 2017

January has thus far been the most challenging month I’ve had overseas. Although I’ve encountered many difficulties, I’m thankful for God's goodness and abundant grace He has towards me. I’m thankful to worship a God who desires a relationship and intimacy with me. Even when I feel furthest from Him, I know He’s always there. Facing hardships isn’t easy, but they can be used by God to build endurance and good character. Therefore, I will have joy because no matter what my circumstances, God is still good and He has an amazing plan for my life.

I am excited to announce that I’m entering into a season of full time ministry. Although I had a strong vision of what I thought I would be doing in France, God always has something far greater than I could ever imagine for myself. Although it’s hard surrendering my “ideas” of what I thought ministry would look like,  I’m thankful for any opportunities I have to serve God no matter where or what  they may be.

My ministry focus is going to be primarily teaching English to Muslims teens on Wednesday afternoons as well as French children on Thursday and Friday afternoons. Also on Thursday mornings, I will be working with a mom's group which entails watching and playing with their children while they meet other mom’s in their area of town.  Additionally, I will also become more involved in a local church in France and work closely with the sex-trafficking ministry. Lastly, I will be faithfully prayer walking and fasting two days a week for the city of Marseille. I don’t know exactly what this entails, but the country of France is in need of prayer. France is a very spiritually dark and empty place, and in need of people faithfully praying over the city. Even though I love to pray, I find it challenging to do so for long periods of time. I’m excited for the Lord to grow my faith and develop in me a heart of prayer as well as deepen my love for this city.

In addition to full time ministry, I’m also a full time student. I’m currently enrolled in several online classes as well as teaching myself another language so I set apart time in my week to focus on school and language.

Thank you so much for being a part of this journey with me. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to email me.  I would love to talk more in detail about what God is doing in my life and how He’s growing and refining me into a person more like Jesus. If you or someone you know has an interest in partnering with me financially, please reach out and I’ll provide more information on financial giving. I’m looking for additional monthly donor partners to help with ministry projects that are coming up.

More than anything, your prayers are invaluable to me. I’m asking for God to give me strength and understanding of His plan. I also need prayer in learning the French language and would love to make some friends.  Please pray for my joy to be rooted in Christ’s love for me and not in the “works” I do for Him. I also ask that you would pray for God to remove my insecurities and guard my health.

Thank you again for your constant support and prayers! I couldn’t do this without you.

February 2017

February has been busy with both serving, teaching, and taking college classes. Just when the month began, in a blink of an eye, it’s now over. Time is flying by while I continue to learn the language and minister in this wonderful city.  Schools have been on break for the past two weeks so I’ve had some time away from teaching English classes. In the meantime, I’ve tried to catch up on some much needed rest, build relationships in France, spend more time reading my Bible and prepare for my online classes.  We’re also enjoying our new apartment in the city of Marseille as we adapt to urban living.

During these past weeks, I’ve discovered how God’s plan isn’t always crystal clear as we often think it should be.  Each season we face brings new hope and new opportunities, and I’m learning it’s ok not to have all the answers.  God reveals His plan in His perfect timing.  I know He has a plan for my life and while in France His presence continues to manifest in my learning and my serving. But there are moments when I wonder if I truly understand the big picture.  What I have learned is we must always keep an open mind.  Although God may seem silent at times, He is always working out the details.  Living far from home has taught me to rely more on Jesus and to seek His wisdom, especially when I begin to question how this experience is growing me spiritually. Here’s what I do know; together we are advancing the Gospel in France, a country that is in much need to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Thank you again for everything, especially for your prayers which are greatly needed in this season of my serving.  None of this is possible without your financial support and believing in me.  I love you all and continue to pray for you as well.  No matter what season you may be in, praise God that He’s always with you.  His love and guidance will lead us as we work together in being the light and the salt of the earth.

March 2017

I’m beginning to understand what it truly means to follow Jesus for myself. Although, my faith journey is a continuous process, I’m currently in a season of allowing God to enter into areas of my heart that I’ve kept from Him for so long. Although I’ve been a believer for many years, it’s not until now that I’ve discovered my beliefs were built on a foundation of rules and regulations I’ve learned in the Scriptures. I once believed by applying these rules, I would live a life that would make Jesus very proud. However, a missionary from Cincinnati came and visited us in the beginning of my internship, and the best advice he provided was, “Christianity isn't a lesson to be taught, but a life to be invited into.”

Now I’m beginning to understand what that means. What is the kind of life I want to invite others into? Truthfully I’m not certain it was the life I was previously living. While living in France, I’ve learned making Jesus proud has little to do with rules and has more to do with surrendering our hearts.

One afternoon while hiking in the mountains, I was processing all the things the Lord has taught me. Something I’ve learned is often we have to reach the mountaintop before we can appreciate the journey it took to get us there. We may need to stop and rest along the way, but God’s place of rest helps us to see things differently by opening our eyes to what it means to be one with Christ and set apart to do His works.

Christians are useless to God when we start believing our faith is built upon all the great things we think we can do for Christ. Truthfully, God doesn’t need us to do anything for Him. He is completely self-sufficient. Although my love for Christ creates a desire within me to do great things in His name, what matters most to Him is to simply loving the Lord with all your heart, your soul and your mind. Today I’m realizing how much He loves me for simply being Mandy.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my newsletter. You are a significant part of this journey and what we are accomplishing in Marseille. It's been an amazing experience and my hope is I’m becoming more alive in my faith than ever before. God bless you.

April 2017

I'm sending out my newsletter early because we are going on summer break soon. For the entire sixteen months of internship we only get two weeks off from ministry and school. Therefore, I plan to get some much needed rest and relaxation. My parents are also coming to visit and I want to make sure I'm spending as much time with them as possible.

The month of April has been a huge push to complete all I needed to do. I’m excited for our break and especially excited to be with my parents. I can’t wait to show them my missionary life, introduce them to my friends, and experience France with a more “touristy” point of view. It will be nice to rest and take some time off, while reflecting on these past seven months overseas.

Something I’m also learning is I can’t compare my “good works" to others, nor should I compare my difficulties. I tend to devalue the things I’m going through because someone else may be worse off than me. I push myself to "suck it up and grow up.” However, I don’t want to ignore my feelings or pretend my struggles aren’t real. I’m discovering it’s ok to have trials and to be vulnerable before the Lord. God cares about struggles no matter how big or small and He also understands what we’re going through.

I tend to ignore the difficult things because I want to “choose joy in all circumstances” but that doesn’t mean what I’m going through isn’t difficult. We will experience real hurts and sometimes we’re thrown into challenging situations, but God is always with us. The hurts of missing home, losing a loved one, being lost in the language, missing friends and worshiping God in my preferred language, and feeling the loss of identity are real. It's okay to hurt and it’s okay to feel sad. I’m learning that Jesus not only put his Holy Spirit in us to help do His work, but also to walk with us through everything we are facing.

Perhaps these past months I’ve been plastering a smile on my face and now I am coming to terms with my struggles and that’s perfectly fine. God is so compassionate and He understands my pain because He went through it Himself. He’s not ashamed of me because I’m not “tough enough” to be a missionary. He knew the difficulties I would face and yet still called me to do His work. How cool is it that He knows our weaknesses yet still uses us in powerful ways to fulfill His purposes!

Thank you for your support and love. It means the world to me. And thank you for your prayers. They give me strength. I am also praying for all of you. May God bless you always.

May 2017

What an incredible month this has been! Recently I have allowed myself to rest in the love that God has for me. It’s beyond all comparison! Although I may see my weaknesses; Christ sees my strength. I give thanks to Him because He is always good to me. While living overseas, the things I can’t do often outshine the things I can do. In the states, there were many things I couldn’t do but at least I could easily communicate. Not only can I not communicate here, but sometimes the language barrier makes me feel I can’t do anything else. However, what’s so ironic is it’s never been about what I can or can’t do. It has always been, and it will always be about Jesus and what He does through me. His wisdom, love, power, strength, and goodness are overflowing.

I know living in Marseille is my divine calling and He will equip me to do all that He needs me to do. Although some days I may feel weaker than others, I take that moment and kneel before God because I am weak and He is so strong. By His grace, France will also come to know God. He is a miracle working God. Although many days I look out at the streets of France and wonder if the light of the Gospel will ever be made known. Then I am reminded that God’s love for France is beyond any love I could ever understand. He is moving and lives are changing. We belong to a God who will never give up because that’s who He is. He is always working and pursuing His children.  I am thankful daily for the time I’ve had in France so far. I’ve grown so much, as well as discovered Christ in so many new ways. I’m also so excited for what’s in store for France and the work God will continue to do.

June 2017

June has come and gone in a blink of the eye. It went by faster than any other month by far, and I fear this is how it’s going to be until the day I find myself on a plane headed home.

I am thankful for every season, but I sometimes find myself struggling to give thanks when things are difficult.  It can be hard to see God moving in France although I know He is.  In general, France and its people have rejected the gospel.  I sometimes wonder if He would care more about a country that has never heard the truth than those who have been exposed to Him and have rejected His message. Although it might be easier to give up on the French people, I know God never will. Prayers are being heard, and they are being answered. The ground is breaking, and light is coming through.

I'm excited about this season, and I am anticipating great things as these last six months overseas come to a close. God is faithful and true, and he is touching the lives of the French people and the city of Marseille. My hopes and love for Marseilleis enormous, and I pray that joy and laughter would consume these streets.

July 2017

I am currently taking an online course on the book of Galatians. One of my recent assignments resonates with what I’m going through and all that God has taught me in this season.

The Galatians church was turning back to their old ways of becoming slaves under the Law. They had experienced conversion, and Paul spoke earlier that they had been baptized in Christ and had believed in the Gospel preached by Paul. Paul worked hard and labored over the church, and yet they were still consumed with the idea of earning salvation through works and not by faith in Christ.  They disregarded what Christ did on the cross and were turning back to their old ways of becoming slaves under the Law. Paul was beginning to fear all of his work with the church was worthless.

When ministry fails, we have to look within ourselves and also the circumstances surrounding us in determining what went wrong, and how we fix it. It’s so easy for Christians to turn back to their old ways, simply because ministry is difficult. We then begin to question ourselves and our mission, often forgetting why we’re here in the first place. We can say, “We didn’t have the tools needed for success.” Sometimes it feels like we’re asked to dig a well, but we don’t have a shovel. However, we must remember that God equips the ill-equipped. We also have to be careful of truly acknowledging why we’re here in the mission field. Is the ministry about making us feel good about ourselves or is it about glorifying God and sharing the Gospel to nonbelievers? The Galatians were turning back to their “good works” in justifying themselves before God. We can never be righteous before our Heavenly Father without Jesus. We’ve experienced firsthand what the transformation feels like when Jesus comes into our hearts. The test is to remain firm in our faith, especially when things become difficult. Often God brings us into situations to grow us as a person because sometimes our hearts need to be refined for divine change to happen as we grow in our faith.

As a follower of Christ, we too experience labor pains through our work in ministry. Although there is so much joy when we see our fruits leading to the conversion of souls, living a Christ-like life places us in uncomfortable and often difficult situations. Truthfully, we sometimes ask ourselves, is it all worth it? That’s why God consistently encourages us to keep our eyes focused on eternity and look beyond our circumstances.

Recently, I am in a season of wondering if this is all worth it. I find myself very lonely and not as joyful as I would desire to be. I went to the Lord and honestly told Him if this is what my life is going to be like if I decided to become a missionary for the long-term, I don't know if I can do it.

But that’s just it; I can’t do it alone but having Christ in me can overcome the challenges I face. My life is also not about me, but instead, it’s about being all that God calls me to be. I’m willing to walk through whatever it takes for a tiny ray of God’s light to shine in France. I knew it would be hard, but this is something I’ve never experienced. I’m thankful for every moment here, even the hard ones.

August 2017

I don’t have the words to describe the month of August. This month definitely felt more like summer despite the school work. My team, as well as our sight leaders, escaped to the mountains for a week to spend quality time together because our new interns arrive next month and ministry begins soon. It was so refreshing to get away. While spending time in the mountains, I realized I’m not a city person. I live in the heart of Marseille which is equivalent to life in the heart of New York. I’m so thankful for our apartment, but didn’t realize how hard it would be adjusting to living in the city. In addition, because we’re nearing our one-year mark, things are slightly more overwhelming and truthfully at times I lack patience. The process of "sanctification" is so incredibly hard and I have to continually check my attitude to be sure I’m producing fruit that’s from the Holy Spirit. There are moments when my humanness comes through, and I have to go to God in repentance.

As I look back on this past summer, I’m thankful for the time I had to invest in my relationships. Our apartment was filled with dinners, game and movie nights, and sleepovers. Part of our ministry here in France is building relationships, and although I haven’t been here a full year, I feel I’m finally breaking through in my friendships and starting to establish a life in Marseille. I’m thankful for this past summer, and I feel I’ve accomplished all my goals!

In general news, I finished all five summer classes! I worked very hard on my studies this semester and managed to make straight A’s! I am extremely proud of myself and felt so encouraged to work and continue getting good grades. Fall classes begin the 1st week of September, and I’m excited to return to teaching English again at the schools. Lastly, I decided to pick up the guitar. God has grown my heart for prayer and worship in France and guitar has always been an instrument I’ve wanted to learn but never set aside time to do. I’m encouraged and excited to see how God will use this to deepen my relationship with Him.

September 2017

Hello to my wonderful supporters!  I can’t believe it’s already the end of September and how fast this month has flown by! I was a little stressed when I looked at the calendar and realized how quickly October is right around the corner. I wanted to express my sincere gratitude to every single one of you. I’ve made it a year in France and God has moved in the most amazing ways. I’m overwhelmed by the continued support I’ve received in both prayer and finances. I can’t thank you enough and truthfully, saying “thank you” doesn’t do justice. I’m so deeply grateful and truthfully at a loss for words. I couldn’t do all that I’m doing if it wasn’t for your support and believing in me to accomplish what God has placed on my heart. Thank you, thank you, thank you for standing behind this mission.  God is so good, and I’m truly grateful to Him for providing me with such an amazing support system. I love you all so very much!

I started teaching at my school in L’Estaque again. I’m helping out with the younger kids twice a week. They are so much fun, and they encourage me to speak French. Although there are many giggles when I try to be serious with them in French, I’m thankful for how they encourage me to read to them even though they might not understand what I’m saying.

I also started tutoring English on Wednesday’s again. This year we have the opportunity to incorporate a short Bible study in addition to helping with homework. I’m excited to get to know the girls on a deeper level and be a voice of encouragement. Many of them come from challenging backgrounds. I hope we can show these girls the love of Jesus and speak value into their lives, even though society tries to discourage them by saying the opposite of what the Bible says about them

October 2017

I am writing this as I sit on the plane headed back to Marseille. I finally found my gate and got on my plane. I smile to myself because I have successfully traveled to another country on my own and now my time here has ended. I feel as if my time in the Middle East was a dream. The days went by slowly but also passed in the blink of an eye.

My clothing is covered in dust from the streets and smells like the horses and donkeys that walked by me. My legs are sore from playing soccer with the friends I met there. I am tired but happy.

I remember that sometime seven years ago Jesus told me to come to the Middle East, and in faith and obedience I took the baby steps to get here, and now I sit on the plane and leave.

I leave the Middle East thrilled to go back to Marseille! France has become home, and I miss my team and the bakery across the street. However, this trip, as I feared, confirmed my call to reach those in the hardest and darkest of places.

As I looked into a mosque and watched people bow before Allah as The Call to Prayer blasted in the streets, I sank into an emptiness I had never experienced before.

Visiting a country that is devoted to serving no other god than Allah and has banned any other religion has filled me with grief and anger but also love and compassion.

God loves His children here. God loves the Middle East and has not nor will ever abandon the people here. The Middle East has no access to the Gospel, and I want to be part of the work that changes that.

My time here is just the beginning of what's to come in my life. I am pressing forward for greater things to come and anticipating God to speak to me about my next steps after France.

But alas, wherever I stand is where I am planted. I will allow myself to continue to be committed to reaching the French who have in fact heard the Gospel but have chosen to deny it. I will give everything I have these last months here! I will continue to witness to the friends I have made who have chosen to live a secular lifestyle. I will continue to pray for the heart of the homeless man across the street who screams in the middle of the night; for those who fill the bars at night and live a life not knowing the love that Jesus has for them - the love that sent Him to the cross to die for us so we may live forever.

France has a great need for the love of Jesus to be made known. For now, my focus is there. What's to come will come in the time the God has to intend. I will serve faithfully where ever I am.

I will continue to run the race faithfully in France for this last month I have overseas. All is for His glory!

Thank you for your prayers and support

November 2017

November has now ended! I can’t believe this was my last full month in France and now I am officially preparing to come home. I don’t know how to describe how I am feeling. I am excited and yet I am sad to leave the place that has become home. I am doing my best to take in every last moment. I am giving everything I have in my ministries and relationships. I am investing in my time with Jesus as well as seeking Him to help prepare my heart to leave.

Looking back I have accomplished much, and even though none of what I did was easy, I am proud that I did everything I could do with what was given. I learned so much about myself as well as the Lord. I have learned how to be an adult as well. I have seen God heal people in the streets and I also learned to defend what I believe in.

I am so thankful for my time here in Marseille, and I am grateful for all of you who stood by me prayerfully and also financially during my time here. I am excited to return to the states and share more about what God did that I can't share in an email. I love all of you and thank you again for the support.

December 2017

As December slowly comes to an end,  this is my last newsletter I am sending out to all of you who partnered with me these past 16-months. What an experience it has been! I can not express into words how thankful I am for the support I have received during my time in France. It is overwhelming, and can't say thank you enough. God has done amazing things in France during my time there, and I am so thankful for Him and the heart He has given me for the French.

France is such a beautiful country, and there are so many opportunities for God to do powerful things in this region of the world. It was an honor to be part of His plan to reach the French people for a season of my life. God loves France so much, and France will always be on my heart and has shaped me into who I am today. I have been immensely changed by this experience and can't begin to describe all I have learned while living in Marseille.

I am sad to have left, but I am excited about what happens next! I am looking forward to seeing all of you soon. I will be in Texas from December 16th through January 3rd and would love to have dinner or coffee with anyone who is interested.
