I hope this letter finds you doing well. I have truly missed you all, and you are frequently in my thoughts and prayers.

First, please accept my sincere apologies for the lack of updates and newsletters lately. Life has been incredibly busy and unpredictable. I am truly sorry for not reaching out sooner, and I so appreciate your grace, understanding, and forgiveness. Thank you for taking a moment out of your own busy schedule to read this today.

It is honestly difficult to fully capture this current season of ministry, but I will do my best! What follows may look like a short letter, but it holds months of ministry packed into just a few hundred words. This season has been a whirlwind—joyful, complex, and at times, deeply overwhelming. Visually, it often feels like I am riding waves of incredible success while simultaneously fighting to stay afloat in deep waters. Yet, every time I reach the shore, even when I feel disoriented or unsure of the next step, I am reminded to listen closely to God as He guides me along this missionary path.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for walking alongside me and providing the means for me to be here. Your partnership means the world to me, and I quite literally could not do this without your support.

I love you all and pray for your continued well-being. Here is a brief snapshot of what God has been doing through our ministry:

Remix

I am also continuing my work with our weekly English classes. These sessions are a wonderful way to build relationships with local university students by offering a free, practical service that meets their needs. We’ve had so many meaningful conversations covering a wide range of topics, and many of my closest friendships here in France have actually blossomed out of this ministry. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve in this way and to provide a safe, welcoming space for students to practice their English.

As we approach the end of the academic year, please continue to pray for our classes! While it is difficult to think about saying goodbye to those I’ve grown to love, I am trusting in God's timing. Please pray that these last few months are marked by the Lord's presence and that He opens up even more opportunities for us to share His Word.

Refuge Kids

I am still serving in the kids' ministry at my church, Le Refuge. This has been a wonderful opportunity to learn how to write and teach different Bible lessons, and it has also provided a safe space for me to practice sharing the Gospel in French! It is a true honor to walk alongside these children, leading them and watching their relationships with the Lord grow during this season. Our ministry has experienced incredible growth since I first arrived—we started with just three children and now average about seventeen! Watching their curiosity blossom and seeing a real community form among them is incredibly exciting. Children truly are the next generation of leaders, pastors, missionaries, and world-changers. I love being a part of their stories and can't wait to see where Jesus takes them.

Young Life

This year, I also had the opportunity to get involved with Young Life. I even joined them for their Ski Camp, serving in the kitchen, which turned out to be one of the best weeks of my entire year! One of the most moving moments occurred during the altar call, as I watched students on their knees surrendering to Jesus while their leaders prayed over them. It was incredibly powerful, and I felt so grateful that these teenagers have leaders who love them so deeply.

At the same time, my heart broke for the millions of other students who are walking through deep suffering and pain entirely alone. As I've shared before, a secular French person has less than a 3% chance of ever meeting a Christian. That means there is less than a 3% chance for a student here to receive prayer, find hope, or experience Christ’s love through a local believer. Please pray for Young Life and the youth involved in this incredible community! We host club every other Friday, and it is a true honor to partner with this ministry.

RAMADAN

We are currently in the season of Ramadan, and I recently had the wonderful opportunity to break the fast with some friends. One of the students' moms prepared an incredible feast of traditional dishes from their culture, and we brought a few of our own favorites to share—macaroni and cheese and pumpkin pie! It was a beautiful evening of coming together, sharing a meal, and exchanging stories about our different cultures and beliefs.

Two of the girls who were there, M and H, have become incredibly close friends of mine and have truly made Grenoble feel like home. I am deeply grateful for them; they have been a source of immense comfort in a season of life that has often felt lonely and isolating.

A comment they recently shared about me and a former teammate really moved me:

"The way you talk about Jesus is so beautiful."

Please pray that M and H will come to know Jesus through my life and the lives of others who are investing in them. Pray for more natural opportunities to share our faith, and that they will continue to ask heart-felt questions about Christ!

Pilgrim

My teammates recently opened a coffee shop right here in Grenoble! This café is part of the 24/7 prayer movement sweeping across Europe. Every Wednesday, we gather at the shop to pray and fast, and we also host 24/7 prayer nights and weekly Bible studies. It is an absolute honor to serve alongside my teammates, Jordan and Vanessa, and their family. I truly believe God is going to do powerful things through their leadership and this space!

Yale University

We had the wonderful opportunity to host a student team from Yale University this semester! They jumped right in, helping us run several of our key events, including Coffee and Go, Bike Repair, English Class, and our American Party. We welcomed over 70 students across these activities, and it was a joy to share the heart of what we are doing here in Grenoble.

I am incredibly grateful for this team’s impact, and equally excited to welcome two more teams next month! While it’s bound to be a busy season, I am truly looking forward to sharing our lives and ministries in France with these upcoming students. Please join us in prayer for these teams and our upcoming events!

Refuge

During my time here, I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to serve at a church called Refuge! It has been a uniquely beautiful and deeply stretching experience. God is doing something truly special at Refuge, and I am so thankful to have called this community home for a season.

Each week, I get to serve with both the kids' ministry and the tech team. I also help prepare our weekly post-service meal, as our entire church family eats together after every service! This community has taught me so much about Christ’s heart for His people, and has shown me just how vital it is to love and serve the local church. I wish you could all experience a service at Refuge firsthand—it is a truly beautiful place. Please continue to pray for Refuge and all that God has in store for this church!

Easter

We had such a wonderful Easter service, which was made even more special by celebrating a baptism! It was an incredibly encouraging time together as we shared a meal and celebrated the resurrection of Jesus.

I am so deeply grateful for my church community here and the friendships that have truly turned into family. From our game and movie nights to the countless shared meals, I cherish every memory we've made. While I don’t capture every single moment with a photo, spending life week in and week out with this community of believers has made my time in this city truly unforgettable.
