Yesterday marked my very last Sunday at La Tour-du-Pin! I am incredibly grateful for the love, kindness, and patience this community has shown me throughout my growth. I couldn’t have asked for a better finale than reading a Bible story to the kids… entirely in French!

Thank you all for praying for this community alongside me. This is the only photo I have from yesterday, capturing the kids literally carrying each other to Jesus. We reenacted the story of the paralyzed man whose friends carried him to Jesus, and yes, we did this activity over 20 times!

I love this story, not just for the miracle, but because of the four friends. We don't even know if the paralyzed man wanted to see Jesus initially, but his friends loved him enough to make sure he did. These four men always inspire me to be the kind of friend who picks up someone's mat and carries them to Jesus, no matter what it takes.

Please keep these children in your prayers, that they would grow closer and closer to Jesus. They are truly the sweetest kids I’ve ever known, and it has been incredibly humbling to do life with them for a season.

Today I had the chance to share a meal at the community center while teaching about 30 people how to make mac and cheese and brownies. Many of them had never tasted or even heard of mac and cheese before, so it was a fun and meaningful way to introduce a bit of American culture.

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of this community and to build relationships through moments like these!! April 27th 2026

This weekend is our 24-1 Prayer Event! Please be praying for those who will take time out of there day to pray! - June 12th

Hey everyone! I hope you’re all doing well. I just submitted my documents for my visa renewal, and I’d really appreciate your prayers that everything will be approved smoothly and that there won’t be any issues with the paperwork.

The visa process in France has been pretty stressful over the past few years, so I’m especially praying for peace and favor throughout this process.

Please pray that the Lord’s hand would be over my application and that everything would go through without complications. Thank you so much!

Today I got to have bubble tea with the young girl from the community center, and we made plans to hang out again next week. Please keep praying for this friendship!

Tomorrow I will be going shopping with the leaders from the community center to prepare for a meal I am hosting for the neighborhood on Monday. Around 30 people have signed up, so I would really appreciate your prayers for the shopping time with the leadership, and for Monday as well, that everything would come together smoothly and the meal would go well.

This weekend we are hosting our 24-1 Prayer Weekend, where churches from around Grenoble will gather at our prayer center. These weekends are very special, so please pray for every person who enters this space, that they would encounter Jesus in a meaningful and beautiful way.

Thank you so much for all your support. April 23rd 2026

This week we gathered for our France field retreat, bringing together colleagues from across the country for a meaningful time of fellowship, prayer, and worship. We were deeply encouraged and poured into by our leaders, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to step away from our routines and spend this time together! April 19th 2026

I had the opportunity to spend a day in Marseille meeting up with my former pastor, who was visiting at the same time, as well as reconnecting with my co-workers who serve in Aix who also happened to be my pastors back in Minnesota! It was such a special time of encouragement and reunion.

I also got to introduce them to friends who serve with 24/7 Prayer in Marseille. They shared their heart for the city and the vision and hopes they’re carrying for what God wants to do there. It was a meaningful time of connection and shared passion for the work happening in the region.

I’ll be sending out a spring update soon, so keep an eye on your mailbox!

Happy Easter! Thank you so much for your sacrifice, whether through finances or prayer, to help fulfill the Great Commission here in France.

After His resurrection, Jesus said: “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:16–20)

You are faithfully sowing seeds in France and helping make Christ known here. Thank you for loving me, and for loving this nation so well April 5th 2026

This weekend we held our 24/1 prayer event, where people from all over Grenoble gathered to pray. Whether during the day or through the night, there is something so special and beautiful about God’s people coming together, to press into His presence, and to bring our needs before Him.

This weekend, we specifically prayed over the violence spreading across our world and for those who are being affected by such tragedy.

I’m so grateful that we belong to a God who loves and cherishes us. A God with whom we can have a deep, personal friendship.

Please join us in praying that Jesus would continue to be the Prince of Peace, and that even in the midst of violence, the glory of God would be revealed. March 21st 2026

Just walked through security and now I’m just waiting at my gate to board my flight! Thank you to everyone who prayed, believed, and supported me along the way! I’ll be sure to update everyone when I arrive! - August 29, 2021

Good morning from France! This is the view from my kitchen . I had a very easy travel day and now I’m excited to jump into language, ministry, and learning about the culture here! Thank you again to everyone who prayed for me and support me along the way! Your gifts and prayers are preparing the way for the French to encounter Jesus! - August 31st, 2021

My first Sunday in France! Le Refuge is the church I am interning at under the leadership of Pastor Mark and Dalene! Everyone at the church was very welcoming and I did my best to have as many conversations in French that I was capable of!! I also had the opportunity to jump right into helping with the Kids Ministry today! I’m excited to get more involved working with the children and partner with the women who are leading that ministry! Also! After every service we share a meal together! And tonight we celebrated three birthdays! We sang Happy Birthday in English, French, and Spanish! It was a very encouraging evening and I’m excited to get more involved in what the church is doing here in Grenoble! - September 5th 2021

PRAISE REPORT || Today I met with a language partner! However, we didn’t necessarily exchange languages… but we talk for about several hours! During that time the Lord opened a door for me to invite her to church and she agreed and said she would try and come this week!! Please be praying for K and that our friendship will continue to grow and she will find a community at Le Refuge! She is new to Grenoble and is looking for friendships!

This last week, we got together as a team for the first time! We worshiped, prayed, and encouraged one another. Getting to France and establishing our roots here is a miracle, especially due to the current circumstances of the country and the things happening in the world. Mark and Dalene also shared their vision for France, the church's history, and how we will partner with them to make Christ known here in Grenoble. There are several ministries to be a part of, and I am looking forward to serving in these ministries alongside my teammates. It has been an amazing week full of PEACE and JOY! I look forward to the days to come and walking alongside the LORD in the things He has called me to while being here.

PRAYER REQUEST

I ask that you would pray for the families that are here and that the Lord would provide the PERFECT house for them! Finding housing in France is not easy as an American, but we know and trust in God’s plan and we BELIEVE He already has to perfect home set aside for them.

Today we walked around the university’s campus and put flyers in students mail boxes for English Class as well as advertised an event for bike repairs!

I’m also going to email out a newsletter next week updating everyone on how I’m doing and what ministries I will be partnering with in France!

Thank you for the gifts and prayers this month! - September 14th, 2021

Yesterday we hosted a free bike repair for the students on campus!!! Many students came and had their bikes fixed and we were able to share in many conversations and extended a invitation to our English Class on Mondays and Café Franglais on Fridays! Many of them were interested and we were able to get phone numbers and Instagrams!

Please pray for continued creativity for reaching students and for the connections we were already able to make! September 25th, 2021

Successful day of buying groceries for our churches BBQ, finding a tongue bigger then my face, and DRIVING!!
